My nickname on the baseball team is "shooter". From my wind-up and delivery that mirror former Cubs closer Rod Beck aka "shooter".

Most call me D Dubbya M; my initials. Don't know why or when it started, but thats what a lot of my friends call me. Nothing too interesting, really.
My best friend/hunting partner we call Kentucky; as thats where he's from. We knew a girl in highschool who honest to God didn't realize that wasn't his name. She thought his parents had actually named him after the state. |

Since this is a hunting site and we're talking about nicknames, I'll tell you that I nicknamed the first buck I ever got (which was2 weeks ago). I dubbed him 'the trooper', as hebraved a realrough nite after a not so great shot I took on him (had to take him down with a second shot the next day). That boy was a real trooper, and when I mount the antlers it's gonna be a tribute to the trooper, my first buck.

I have a few...
I used to be called Duke... hence the screen name by all my co-workers and bosses at my former occupation. We had alot of Mikes.. I became the head manager quickly and the owners said I had a John Wayne like karma to me... hence the nickname Duke which I was solely called for more than 5 years at the company. In fact, after a short while, no one remembered my name was even Mike anymore. |
