Is having fun anymore or if he's bored with it all. Got to be so many deer that just don't excite him anymore. Would be interesting to know. Might make that old saying true, "Be careful what youwish for".:eek:Been 7 years.

I saw him on an episode of Primos last year where the Primos team invited him along on an elk hunt... still seemed super personable, humble -- and he got very nervous and almost succumbed to "buck fever" when the moment of truth arrived.

I'd say he's still enjoying it. ;)

Harvesting a buck like that would ruin it only if you are hunting for certain reasons, in my humble opinion.

He's pro-staffing for the guys at "Huntin the world - Southern Style". I've seen him on the show whitetail hunting and turkey hunting. He looks like he's still having fun, to me.

Why woudl he bored? He never harvested a buck over 110 before that one, I am sure he still loves to hunt. Big deer are big deer not matter what the score.

Mike's still out there and enjoying hunting. He's even taken a couple nice deer over the past few years, just not as big as his famous buck.
