The weekend is here, who's it gonna be? Around my area, bucks are locked down w/ does some, so the action has slowed somewhat, but I'll be back at it this weekend....

I think buckeye is gonna put one on the ground....He's had a tough season and that sure would make it sweet!

Predictions? Anybody?

Not gonna be me. Slugfest season is in here in IL from today through sunday. However, I am hitting the woods with my future father in law this afternoon. He's not much of a hunter so I am gonna do a little calling and glassing for him. I hope he nails a big one.

Brknarrow will be hunting my woods in the morning. I have NO IDEA of what's left out there.....because I shot my buck RIGHT when it was gettin' good. If a biggun comes by.....I told him to let the air out of it.

Like I say.....no idea....but I wouldn't be at ALL surprised if there's a nice buck or two in there.

We're huntin' the laides (predominantly), though!;)

Farmcntry is hunting with me in the afternoon.......and I make either of them no promises. BUT.....I'd rather be in a tree in the morning! (in my woods)

Well its probably not going to be a guy from PA, unless they are hunting out of state…..Hmmm I'm from PA, I'm hunting out of state this afternoon and on Sunday. Hhhmmmm If only this weekend could be my chance.

Yep, slug season has all us IL hunters waiting... though MeanV2 and I may hook up and go to a bow-only spot in Illinois tomorrow... I know I'll be there! :)

Won't be I... Youth Gun season this is this weekend. Obligation keeps me from the woods Saturday anyway.

My goose is porbably cooked till late season. Next week I'll be heading to Deer Camp .. but that bows a little louder ;)

Won't be me. As Rybo said bucks are out in PA until the 26th. I haven't been able to hit NJ with the new job so I didn't even get the permit for the late permit bow season. I'll be out to do some nanny whackin.

I think Droptine249 is gonna score his first buck this weekend and it'll be a slammer.

Won't be me, waiting for MO Gun season to end so all the crazy city hunters leave and it should be safe to go back into the woods.
