Range fineder 4 the bow??????

Hey Guys I know this is kinda late to be asking (our season ends today, NY) but do they make a site for the bow that has a range finder built right into it? My buddys wife has a real hard time judging distance and she missed a big 12 (he got it later on in the season) She says shes tryed everything but nothing seems to help.... Thanks

Why not just use a regular range finder?

She said it was too confusing..... she dont like things arouond her neck, and by the time she put the finder down the deer would have moved and she would have too range it again ... I think she might have a problem w/ depth perseption but she has never brought it up,so I never asked.... she tryed marking the trees around her ,shes tryed to put posts in the ground, like I said shes tryed just about everything..... she was just wondering if they made a site that had a range finder built into it....(something like a red dot I guess)

Just range some trees in her set.....tie different color ribbons on them forcorresponding yardages and be done with it.

That is great advice I do thesame around my stand. I have three different color pin andI putA small paint mark on the tree that is the same yardage asthat pin.

They used to make a laser rangefinder that attaches to the bow, I haven't seen one in a while though. I wouldn't want one on bow. I will do a search and see if I can find it. I think it was made by bushnell?

As far as the Eotech range finder you can do that with pins if you want. It is just a type of reference ranging. You can do it with the reticle of your scope as well if you a duplex reticle.

I do what the others do. When I set my stand I use my range finder to range a perimeter around my stand taking note of certain objects. When a deer walks in that circle I don't have to think about anything but aiming and releasing an arrow.

There is a range finding type device that you can attach to the side of your sight for archery but it isn't electronic. I saw in in either Outdoor Life, Peterson's Hunting, or Peterson's Bowhunting magazine. I can't remember the name of it right now but I will look and get back to you.

This may not be what you want to do but it is similiar to the one that I had seen before. This way you wouldn't have to go out an by a new sight.

This is the one I was talking about at first.

Just a suggestion in case you don't want to buy a new sight.
