ok when season opened i did not use any my first day

after that i used a all season doe urine and after i started i was seeing less and less deer down to two or three hunts with nothing

first of nov i go to a cheap dom buck urine and a code blue doe estrus which everyone recommed around here .
my first three rut hunts had little activity unless it was up wind 60 yards away

today i went out scent less no code blue no buck urine i saw 15 deer which was three time more then i had any other day and ha da doe come in 15 yards out i missed read my buck fever post

and a spike that came out 15 yards from my 20 yard marker and walked aorund to the left .

i plan to hunt scent less for the next few hunts and see what happens

do any of you do better with out the scents

maybe it's all in my mind but I use scents most if not all of the time

i have up to today never went in the wood without them but up untill this year i have seen little to no ativity must been because i was gun hunting on public land

I have use scents while stalking 3 does go within 50 yards and 1 of the does spooked and ran towards the bush so i blew a few grunt calls and they didn't respond so i got up and left, i didn't go 20 yards when those three does were standing 20 yards from when i was when i spooked them! I believe scents work!

true butI have hade more success with sents than no sents deer sents scare them less than human sent

bigtim, i use deer urin and i have to tell i seem to have good luck with the bucks and young doe's but man when a old doe comes in and gets a whiff of it she just goes crazy starts snortting stomping then starts circleing my stand i mean she's on high alert the whole time.
