Sleepy Buck

I have posted on a couple other forums and just wanted to share with HN some photos from last weekends hunt..Had a great time saw lots of deer and filled another doe tag..But coolest thing IMO was at on point I had 5 bucks (nothing big) and a bunch of does around...Bucks sizing each other up, grunting, clanking horns and chasing does..I video taped until my arm got tired, which I'll try and upload.. But I had one buck lay down 20 yards in front of me and fall asleep for about 2.5 hrs...It was just one of the experiences that I love about hunting

He slept like this for awhile

Then He decided to get comfortable

And just sprawled out on his side

I had that same exact thing happen on opening day of gun season last year. I was like awesome, this buck made it through bow season without getting shot and now he's 15 yards from me today so he will more than likely make it through today and hopefully be around next year. Well, the second day of gun season, he ventured across the road to my neighbor and got blasted. I wish I could tell these young's that they are safe on my property but they will be shot at if they leave! Oh well, great story man!
