Wow everyone, thank you so very much for all of the kind words! All of the replies really mean alot. He is still so excited it is beyond belief. He has taken the dog out two times since we have been home and both times I watched him out the window as he went over to where she is hanging. He can't stop talking about it and he is still glowing. He can't wait to butcher her tomorrow so we can throw some steaks on the grill. I am so proud of him.

Thanks again everyone. I woke up this morning still as happy as I was when I went to sleep last night, I'm sure he will do the same. My lovely wife is in the kitchen starting homemade blueberry pancakes, eggs, and sausuage. I think I am going to either saute' or grill tenderloin medallions from his deer to go with it. Then the two of us are going to go get her butchered and in the freezer.
