If I already have a deer in the meat locker then I'll take the older buck. It it's the first day of the hunt and the lockers empty, I'll lay the smack down on the first one to fill the crosshairs. (It's all about harvesting meat for me.)

no contest the older buck.if you have a deer thats only 2.5 years old and already pushing 120" let him go at least another year or two. around here a 4.5 year old isn't gonna grow alot more.

I'd go with the older buck because he is more mature, plus as others have said the 120" 2.5 has some serious potential.
