All I care about is the rack. If its three days old with a 140 or better rack I taking a shot at it.

If I already have a deer in the meat locker then I'll take the older buck. It it's the first day of the hunt and the lockers empty, I'll lay the smack down on the first one to fill the crosshairs. (It's all about harvesting meat for me.)

no contest the older buck.if you have a deer thats only 2.5 years old and already pushing 120" let him go at least another year or two. around here a 4.5 year old isn't gonna grow alot more.
I couldn`t have sead it better myself. I agree,Good awnser.
I agree, I'd shoot the 4.5 year old and let the 120" grow another year. (If side by side).

I'd go with the older buck because he is more mature, plus as others have said the 120" 2.5 has some serious potential.

I agree with this completely. First of all, your taking an already nice-racked mature deer and secondly, 120" at 2.5, your taking an even bigger deer next year or the year after that if he survives.

I would take the 4.5 if I had the choice but either would work for me.
