Not sure where I heard this but isn't Buffalo county the number one B&C county in the whole country? North of LaCrosse and south of Eau Claire?

Not gonna happen. You'll find public land but everyone and their brother hunts it. There is some decent stuff in Tremp county you can find but you have to hunt really hard and have alot of luck to get anything big. WCL

yeah, buffalo county records more boone and crockett bucks than any other county in the country!!
