Summit all the way. I've killed a lot deer out of my Viper, and just recenty got a Goliath. Easy to use, and I have never had a safety issue with mine. Plus, they are extremly comfortable.

Just make sure that he knows he has to wear a safety harness.

AMEN for sure........I also recommend the Summit Viper. Quality piece of equipment and very comfortable. Only concern I would have is if a 13 year old can pack a climber in/out. They weigh 20lbs. butare a little bulky. If he is a small kid he could have trouble. If you are planning on setting it up for him, then I think it is a great choice.

they are very costy but well worth it and very comfortable and light...but i would just buy him a decent light climber with a helper... look up tree walker tree climbers and look at them my brother has one and he has let me use it they are light and u can sit in them all day not that pricey but alittle i guess depending on your price range...

one more for the ol' man climber. I have the one with the footrest or shooting rest, most comfortable and simple seats out there.
