Received this pic from a friend at work. Don't know to many details. Can confirm it was shot last week in Schuylkill county, a couple miles south of tamaqua.

welp that kicks the hell out of my 26" wide 12pt. Heck ofa Buck. They got some big ones up there in that county. Cant wait to hear the story, is it going to be recorded and scored in PA?

I have a buddy from Tamaqua and one of his friends just called in a buck last week that he said was a definite Booner. He couldn't get a shot and they're out in Ohio now. I wonder if that is the same buck. I'll try to find out tonight.

Whitetail archery369..... Didnt you hear, he shot it out of your treestand Monday when you had to work..... Im only kidding. That is one heck of a deer, I've seen some big PA deer and shot my share of them. That deer there is on calibur with anystate that has the Bigbuck reputation. Glad PA is rising in the ranks.

Not takin' anything away from this guys buck because I only dream of killing one that big but my question is this:

Why is it that every single picture of these monster bucks are laying on a concrete garage floor, driveway or in the bed of a truck? This is a once and a lifetime buck andtheyhave no pictures of it in the field?Blows my mind.K, I'm done ranting:D

OK, I got an update on this buck. The guy who shot it does know my buddy. In fact when I told my friend who was with the guys from Tamaqua and he described the guy to them they both said “Bobby!” so they definitely know the guy. After getting home from OH they got the story. This guy is a trooper. He’s the kind of guy that will trek back miles into the woods on foot. However, this giant was taken behind a buddy’s house. There had been some rumors flying around that it was on a game farm. Not true. The buck is legit and an absolute PA giant.
