Thanks everyone! There is no quitting now. Believe me, as he started to get closer all I could think was, "Oh my Lord, don't blow this shot" But as I learned from this site, practice, practice, practice!!! My kids are so excited, I can't wait for them to get a little older!!!

Also, This brute was taken from Spencer Lake. I now that none of you will head there!! By the way, the bow was Fred Bear Truth and Rage 2. I must say, with the tree rocking in the wind, the arrow flight was perfect and had a total passthrough double lung. It can only get better from here, Right!!

nice one mack! I'm in similar situation as you...new hunter, learned a lot from the guys on this site...taken one doe, no buck yet, so you're an inspiration!
