RE: Couple Hunting
I think it is a great thing to get your wife involved in hunting. My wife has been hunting for about 6 years now. She is a city girl, so there was a lot for her to learn. The first year was tough on both of us, but she gets better every year. She doesn't bow hunt, but she is tough on them in rifle season. Last year she started hunting by herself and did a great job. She's stacked up 7 deer now and is looking forward to increasing her total this weekend.
I always put her in the best spot I can find, because I want her to see deer and enjoy herself. I probably don't hunt quite as hard when I am hunting with her, but I love to see her have success. In addition, it has made her much more understanding of what it takes to harvest a deer. She is still waiting for that first good buck. Oh, and did I mention that she is a much better shot than I am? When I was first teaching her to how shoot, she me sqaure in the eye and said, "So all I have to do is put the plus sign (+) where I want to hit and squeeze the trigger?" It seems so simple when she says it like that!! Go hunting ladies, give you man a little more to brag on you about!! |
RE: Couple Hunting
I think it is great that you all enjoy taking your wives. My husband asked me once to go hunting and I said that wouldn't be a good idea. If I see a snake or a bug is on me he would not see any deer from my SCREAM.
