Default Passed on this buck.....

Saturday evening I passed this guy up right before dark. Had him come in perfectly at 10-12 yards, right on the same trail I smoked a doe on earlier that night. I had the video camera rolling and on him, but just couldn't pull the trigger. He's just not quite what I'm looking for, and with only 1 buck tag left in my pocked I decided to hold out. If he makes it through the winter, I'd like to see him next fall in the same spot.

Beautiful buck... Looks a little young yet, I would have taken him in my area though... Wish you luck on a bigger one!

That could only be a 1.5 yr old depending on where you are. It looks like a 2.5 yr old from my area.

Nice buck. Glad you have a place where you can let them go in hopes for something bigger. I would have had to taken him here without a doubt.

Nice! I'd have passed him, too, even though I'd not likely see another that nice around here. I'll take a doe over him anytime.
