It is "bittersweet", Tony. I won't lie. I guess it will sink in that he's gone in the next few days. I honestly don't know what else it out there, really. It might take a couple years to get "acquainted" with some new bucks.....or there may be some bruisers out there now that I've never seen. I'm done with bucks, this year, though. I might TRY to take a doe or two more......but my season turned "incredible", this morning.

That is incredible! What a sense of accomplishment you must have right now. I couldn't be happier for you! I bet you are already counting down the days to getting that mount back.

I think I would be after the buck closest to the camerain this picture. Looks to me like he was bigger than the "bull" last year. He's probably a dandy this year. Seems to be wider with more tine length. Maybe one to look forward too next year.

I agree his rack is bigger......but the body difference is the FIRST thing I noticed when I first viewed this photo.

I've never seen that deer on the left. I would love for him to walk by Rob/PA next Thurs. morning when he's here. I'd be (almost) as happy as I am right now!
