Earn a buck in the CWD zone in Wi where I hunt/live........so i can kill unlimited bucks as long as I kill a doe first, however we practice QDM and I do not shoot bucks under 3.5 years old and never more than 2 in a season(if I'm lucky)

2 bucks allowed in my part of NC, other areas get as many as 4 bucks.

In Illinois we are allowed 2 all season, bow, gun or 1 in each

1 with bow 1 with gun here in NY and if your lucky you might get 2 doe tags that can be used in either season. You can kill a buck or a doe with you bow tag but not both unless you have a separet doe tag.

Where I hunt in ny, I can shoot 2 bucks on my reg. tags, and then I usually get 4 doe mgmt. tags which each turn into a either sex tag once a doe is killed on each. So technically I could shoot 6 bucks, but would have had to have killed 4 does prior. Make sense?
