donated a doe

#2 for the season…
Here is a S. MI doe the Razortec & I shot Saturday morning @ 7:30…about a 15 yard shot slight quartering away, from 28 feet up complete pass through 8 inches in the ground… I was using the G5 Tekan II heads..They did their job but I was not impressed with holes or blood loss..

70 lb Hoyt RazorTec
Gold Tip XT 5575
G5 Tekan II
FOBs
Homemade lighted nock
Truglo sights
TR Dropzone..
Scott little bitty release.

And as the title said this doe filled 1 of 16000 antlerless permits and was donated to the Hunters for Hungry...

Awesome man. I love those programs that allow you to donate the deer to help others missouri is part of Share the Harvest. I was blown away by how much missouri hunters donated last year. I think the total was 161 tons, yes tons of venison. Some of the processers even take care of the charge for processing. i think it was like 6,500 hunters donated. Kepp up the good work guys.

Great program. Thanks for the post. Not to get off topic, but how do those "wings" handle a pass through? It just seems like it would hinder the arrow's complete penetration.

:D...along with the nock they pop off and lay on the ground...which allows for an easier pass through becasue there are no fletchings being drug through the body cavity, just a bare shaft....

I use a homemade lighted nock which stays in the arrow and if that fails(never has) all my arrows have 3 inch reflective wraps...
