Need info on older reflex bow
I just bought a used Reflex Growler bow which resembles the Gamegetterwith the cam and1/2 but w/o the Tec riser like the 2007 model. Can anyone tell me what year this bow was made and what it sold for? I saw another bow just like it on ebay & the seller claimed he bought it new 2-3 yrs ago. But I think it might be older than that. Any infowould be much appreciated.

RE: Need info on older reflex bow
Thanks for your input. I like the bow overall but when the bow is at full draw (even with 75%letoff)there's not much of a valley. I measured the brace height at 7 1/2" but to me it's not very forgiving. The draw length is set at 30" and draw weight at 65 lbs. I don't think there"s any way to adjust the valley. Do you have any suggestions?

No way to adjust the valley. Adjust the draw length so you're right against the wall at anchor, to get on the back end of what little valley the bow has. All us old-time Hoyt shooters shoot from the wall instead of the valley anyway.

RE: Need info on older reflex bow
I've owned a lot of different bows over the last 20 yrs, but I've never run across a bow like this one!Usually at the breakover point on the cam just before reaching full draw you should start to feela great deal ofletoff. This bow has very little, considering a 75% letoff &a 38" axle to axle length!Actually, this bow is very accurate, quietand plenty fast for bowhunting. I just need to practice shooting the bowso I can get used to it.I know this bow was on the low end of their line, but does anybody know what this bow sold for 3 or 4 years ago?

I have noticed that the reflex bows don't have much of a valley at all. Arthur is right get that DL adjusted so you are right against the back wall at full draw.

RE: Need info on older reflex bow
When I bought the bow the draw length was set at 29"(this is my normal draw length)but there was no valley at all. I set it to 28" and it made it worse. By setting it to 30" I have a little valley now and a solid back wall, so there's no more adjustment to be made. I've been flinging some arrows in my backyard but Idon'tlike the feel of it at full draw, so I'll probably end up selling it.
