I've heard the same, if u bend at the waist, it should shoot the same. If not you need to shoot a tad bit lower due to the trajectory. I confirmed this @the HNI meet. From some of the platforms, I aimed just a bit lower & the arrow hit where I wanted it to. Another idea I've heard, is to imagine your exit wound & aim there.

Very true,you should shoot for the exit. The arrow path should always be the first concern.

A lot of bad answers here, a few good. The sharper the downward angle the lower you should hold, period. Shooting downward, gravity has less of an impact on arrow trajectory. If you bend at the waist, and hold a little low ( I aim 1/3 up from the bottom at the heart, if I'm a little high, I have a double lung, also if deer jumps the string, I have a double lung) and think exit side, you should be perfectly fine. The majority of misses from tree stands are high. A lot of deer are spined simply becouse the hunter failed to hold low, even though shot execution was good. DFA

I actually shoot better from elevation for some reason. As to how to shoot better from elevation....get elevated (LOL), shoot, tweak your sight, shoot, tweak your sight....etc etc until you are hitting what you are shooting at...:) Nothing more nothing less.

You may want to hold just a bit low or right on depends on how far you are shooting. I try not to compensate because that is when things go wrong. Most fast bows these days allow to to hold right on and your point of impact may be just a tad high. Practice out of the stand and you will see what works best for you.
