Missouri Bowhunting Question

For anyone knowledgable about the Missouri archery season and various zones:

My question: The typical bowhunting season closes on Nov 9th, and reopens on the 21st (for the firearms season). Are you still able to archery hunt during this 'closed' time period if you are in a bowhunting only unit?

I was thinking about purchasing a nonres tag and coming down, but just realized my vacation is during the firearms season......l

RE: Missouri Bowhunting Question

I'm guessing it is on a conservation area. if it is i believe you can still bow hunt if you are on an area that is archery only. I will check with my conservation agent today if i can get ahold of her and let you know for sure.

Yes, you can. You will, however, have to follow any and all firearms regulations, including wearing orange and have a valid firearms tag. Archery tags aren't valid during firearms season.
