Hunting time...
 

I have never really tried to hunt the mid day. Say from about 10am-2pm. Is this a good time to go? An area that Iwas thinking of trying is loaded with acorns. I hunt in western PA.

here in missouri, and i hear most states as well
that it can be as good or better than the first couple hours and the last couple hours
i normally take food in the stand i sit all day
you will see many more deer like this

Myself i've tryed hunting from 10;oo -2;oo about 6 time the woods i hunt in i'm just wasting my time because i just don't see deer at that time . Don't get me wrong i love being out in the woods but i would still like to see deer even if i don't get a shot. but like i sayed that the way it is in the woods i hunt in yours might hold alot more deer .

i have hunted four out of the last six in the morning out and on the road by 11 or 12 onehunt i stayed till 3 the other 5 90% of the deer i see are in the morning but what i can't figure they wont come down the 8 trail i have in range
