First for me...
31 yards with a Mathews MQ1 at 73lbs. Rage 3-blade 100gr. heads. Never shot a coyote with a bow before, but when the opportunity presented itself I jumped all over it!

saw a yote this year...walking in..shined my light down the trail i walk in on and there he stood..15yds away...i couldnt figure out how to hold my light and draw my bow and make the shot lol..i must have blinded him or something...he stood there for a good 30 seconds....wish i had a headlamp...he would been drilled...i could see him and my pins perfectly...just couldnt see both at the same time... |
RE: First for me...
Thanks everyone. Initially I thought it was going to be a buck trotting in, so I was as ready as I could be when the coyote came into view. Even though the shot is near perfect, she still managed to run 50 yards. I continued my hunt, and saw three deer not long after the shot.

RE: First for me...
Great job keep whackin and stackin them all you want. Awsome picture!!:D
|
RE: First for me...
Thanks again. I took the picture by myself, with the use of a timer. It's always a good idea to carry a camera, and learn how to use it.

RE: First for me...
ORIGINAL: James Vee I continued my hunt, and saw three deer not long after the shot. Ain't it odd how that works out? Its like they keep tabs on each other all the time (go figure though). I took a doe last week and then missed a bobcat 15 minutes later last week, then got a second chance at another one and scored 10 minutes after that. Almost like I had rung the dinner bell or something.... |
RE: First for me...
Good shot! Congrats on the coyote.
