Kudos to Pro Shop

There is a reason I spend my money there!! Yeah it may cost a little more but in the end you get what you pay for so to say.

Was hooking my drop rope on yesterday am to let my bow out of the tree and noticed the bottom limb was cracked/delaminating. Perfect time of the year for that to happen. Went home and called the pro-shop and the guy asked if I dry fired it, he knows better, was a joke. Said bring it in and I'll get some new limbs on the way tomorrow morning.
We were lamenting on the phone how this was a bad time of year for this to happen, etc. He then says, I shot my deer last weekend. Hurry up and get up here and you can just use my Guardian until yours is fixed, what's your draw length? 29, he says perfect shouldn't have to adjust much. Took mine in and shot his, and didn't need to change much of anything. Shot a couple broadheads and ready to go.
That is why I use a pro shop. I know Cabelas has great customer service but it wouldn't be that good. Now instead of being bowless at the best time of the year I'm good to go. A few extra bucks here and there was definately worth it.

Perfect testament as to why it's always prudent tosupport your local bowshop whenever feasible. What's that loaner bow worth, about now?;)

Thanks for posting this, Mez.

I like to hear that. Ive seen way too many bad pro shops, it makes me feel good to hear the good stories. I quit using pro shops back in the 80s. I got sick of having some young guy tell me all the things I had to have, and not the one thing I went in for. Ive been my own pro since 1988. If thats what you want to call it.:D:D

That proshop owner is a very good businessman. Something like that actually cost him not one nickel yet he locked up your's and everybody else's business you can recruit for him. I hope other shop owners read this and think about it. Not saying they should always pony up a loner bow but there are many ways to keep customers happy.
