LOOOOOONG DAY
 

I went in at 7:30 this morning and had 1 or 2 deer lightly blow at me from under my stand.I did not see it/them.


From that point,I sat in the stand untill 12:00,got out and took about an hour nap at the base of my tree [8D]and then climbed back in.I sat untill dark 30 and saw NOTHING all day.NOTHING,NADA,ZIP.


Logged about 10 hours on stand today and I picked the wrong spot.Thought for sure that the bucks would be pushing the does around just aggrivating the crap out of them,boy was I wrong.


I saw deer when I was driving down the road this morning and on the way home but NONE while on stand.


Man I'm beat.:eek:

And thats why they call it hunting:D Hey even though you didn't get any luck on a ten hour sit you have to realize you are greatly increasing your odds by hunting all day to harvest a nice deer!!That patience will really pay off. Good luck to ya

Been there many times myself....I'm sure i"ll experience it in the coming days. The flipside is as you know...it can happen at any time.

hang in there man. i bet that was a long day!! Im going to wait a little longer before i try the all dayer, its getting hard to sit that long in my old age :D

I didn't get to hunt yesterday because I was with the kids doing their things soI thought with the moon being almost full that I would see something mid day so I said to myself,I will make up for yesterday.[&:]


To make things worse,I was in the smallest standI had but atleast it is setup for comfort.:eek:
