Tarsal gland usage?

I have a friend that shot a buck on Saturday, and he saved the tarsal glands for me. I was wondering if anyone had a tips for how I should use them. Do you drag them? Or hang them in a tree or what? Thanks.

I would hang them above a mock scrape...

Are there any other ideas?

That's the best idea. First thing though, are you just keeping those tarsal glands in a bag somewhere because you should keep them cooler before using them. I just like to take tacks and tack them to trees but you can use them just like a scent bomb or wick as well. Those are your best options
