moving stand and cutting some lower limbs for shooting range

i plan to move my ladder stand about 50 yards and cut out some lower brush for some shooting lanes. I plan to use achainsaw put only ifthe handsaw wont cut something

with me and dad being in there cutting and moving the stand how long should i wait tohunt it

and would you take your bow for just in caseyou see something or is that just to unlikely with the activity of the cutting ad stand moving
ithought they might come in to see what the chainsaw noise is about since there are a lot of people cutting in the area

I've hunted stands and taken deer the next day after hanging a stand and cutting limbs.

Um, pretty sure they wont come in to check out the "chainsaw" !
Sure they will...I worked on chainsaws and skidders when I was younger...Deer are naturally curious, they will come in and watch you cut a tree...The will also eat the leaves off those limbs once you leave...

About 20 years ago I spent most of the afternoon disking cut corn...About 5:00, I finished, parked the tractor, grabbed my .243, made me a sandwich and a drink and walked back to the field...I sat down with my back to a tree and had my snack, deer started coming into the field before 6:00...Ended up seeing 37 deer....35 left the field on their own...:D
