Ok I'm seeing lots of scrapes, bigger rubs than I've ever seen before, and small bucks worrying the does. It's almost go time folks!

Oh yeah, bring it on! Last few days of October, and we finally have cool fall temps with frost predicted for Tuesday night. I'll be out there every day, from dawn till dusk the next 2 weeks.

i was out this morning and i saw a buck run 2 does around a bottom for about 5 min. i also saw a nice buck make scapes and trash trees him an another buck fought for a while! it is really GETTING EXCITED

Last years rut seemed to go on during the night more than anything but this year I'm see more bucks move in the daylight hours. I hope this continues.
