305 kinda like the Godzilla buck shot on Indian land that was gross weighted not scaled and was said to weight 450 pounds but was left for days then found lol but i am not saying he is lying about a 305 doe
ORIGINAL: Cay4redneck

ORIGINAL: nctaxi

I used to process deer for Christmas money, when I was younger, and we weighed on a scale at 305#. She was a freak of nature, the other deer would hang with their heads over 1ft off the ground. This freaks shoulders touched the ground, I could barely get my arms around her chest. Biggest doe I have ever seen. Funny part is this guy said he almost didn't shoot her because he thought she was too small!!! He said he didn't have anything near her to judge size and thought she looked small.
305 LBS!!! ARE U KIDDING??

All the teenagers at my school can only manage to shoot does and they all say the same thing:

Oh she weighs around 180lbs....

In reality though i think most big does prolbably weigh around 120 or 130, anything around 150 is a just a hoss

305 is very possible, in the north country. North Maine and New Brunswick have some monsters.

Last year I shot on that weighed 110 that is a good size for south AL. Most around here that are shot are 90 -100.

I killed one old doe several years ago with my muzzleloader on a managed hunt at Pelican Island CA, upnear the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. The whole river bottom up there was surrounded by soybean and corn feilds. She weighed 136# feild dressed. If you use the rough estimates of 1/3'rds she was pushing 200# live weight. It was funny because one of the guys in our hunting party shot a nice 2.5 year old 7 point buck and she absolutely dwarfed him!

120-125 dressed. Don't remember the actual weight. Have heard "stories" about them 200 pounders, now there are 300 pounders? Wow...we need to feed em better in Mid-Michigan I guess. Most of the does taken in my area are 80-110 dressed.
