Whenever you can! I know you want to maximize your sightings, etc, so starting this week, Anytime durring daylight hours is sure to be a good time. It's been raining the last three days here in Md, and it's due to stop about 0900 / 1000 hrs tomorrow morning. The bucks have already began to make scrapes. They'll be itching to re-mark their territory as soon as the rain stops, so guess where I'll be :D. The full moon usually dictates more mid-morning, to afternoon deer activity. Bottom line is, if you have the day off, try and spend the whole day in the woods in the next few weeks. Eat / drink lightly the night before,so mother nature won't come calling too hard. If you know of a scrape line, I'd be close to it on Saturday, about an hour before they're calling for the rain to stop. With the full moon, I'm gonna try tosit all day. If you know of a good bedding area, maybe set up just down-wind of it. The bucks will cruise these areas to wind any hot does that might be in the thick stuff. Good Luck!
