RE: going from a 200 gr arrow to a 400 grain
Refer to other post, Your arrows will be heavier, more spined, and will hit lower than before. Although, with a broadhead attached and a different spine than before, who knows where they are going to go if your bow isn't tuned correctly.

It will definitely be quiter I'd say. You really should go with a heaver arrow or drastically reduce your draw weight. Some bows won't even let you do that.

You will most likely need to resight but arrow weight has nothing to do with spine(atleast not in the context you are asking)
Arrow diameter will play arole as well as theweightbut you will definately be seeing a difference in point of impact. |

what ratio are you shooting? 200g is extremely low. remember anything under 5:1 will hurt your bow!

i am sure that my rest is set right i shoot good out to 25 yards even telescoped a few . 6 months after getting my bow i had to go from 6 arrow group to 3 to keep from cutting them
i am going to got o gander montain and see if they can help me sight it in if i buy some new arrows |

Tim - jumping your arrow weight by200 grains will make a pretty hefty difference, buddy. Your 20 yard mark will definitely move. Also, your other marks will move too - so you can't just move the whole bracket. Your pin gaps will get wider.
Make sure you don't just move your whole sight bar and zero your top pinat 20 yards and leave everything else set as it was. Very important. You'll have to re-sight it in at every different yardage marking. |

Just curious, why do you need Gander Mountain to sight your bow? If anything, you should at least know how to do that. You should be more dependent on yourself and less on "proshops".
