Mobow, good job on staying off the trigger when you're not 100% sure. I agree with the others I think that stand is where it is will happen for you. I can't wait to see that big grin plastered across your face when it happens.

Alright MOBO, keep up the good fight. Remember your best chances are the first few times in that spot. Loose that arrow bud.

Dubbya......You don't know how excited I was to see antlers.....and this early in the season! I nearly came unglued....I wasn't that nervous when I proposed to my wife! I've just never seen one this early in the game......I seriously thought I was gonna hurl at one point, and that was a smallish buck........I don't know what I'm gonna do when a 120 steps out at that range......I'll prolly pass out. :D

Thanks, shed......I appreciate the support. This is the first year I TRULY believe I'm gonna kill one. I've had a positive attitude in the past, but this year is different. I can feel it.....I don't know how to explain it.....the "pit of your stomach" kind of feeling...

HB, I can't wait to see that picture myself!!!

MOTOWN, you're right, and he never knew I was there, so I didn't mess it up too bad I don't think. The entry and exit route is extremely low profile.....I looked at the spot you pointed out to me, and it's just too thick to hunt back there....It's wicked dark back there...I did learn, today, that I need to move my location downriver about 80 yards......The river cuts into the bank pretty good there, and the woods really neck down.

EDIT: Dubbya, it took me a few minutes to catch that "bedder deer" remark.....OMG, that's funny!! I forgot all about that!! I hope you're right, he'll be safe as in his mother's arms at that point......LMAO.....geez that was funny....I still can't believe I choked that shot...

Mobow, i cant wait for the day that i come on here and see you shot your buck, it cant come soon enough. It sounds like you have a good spot there. Here is alittle trick that might help. You mentioned that the buck worked a couple of scrapes as he was walking towards you. you might want to set up a mock scrape. If that buck uses the area often, or any other buck for that matter, they will come to check it out. Especially if you use some kind of buck piss. I have done this in the past and it has paid off. Best of luck!
