Okay, I'm trapped in the office again.

I know Hunsucker is out there, so maybe he'll provide us with an up-to-the-minute hunting report.

I've got a buddy on stand this morning, just txted me, says that he saw a lone button buck and a forkhorn between 8:00 and 8:30.That's it so far. I'll update as the messagescome in.

So? Anybody hunt this morning? Anyone going tonight?

I saw two doe on my commute this morning.

If ererything goes as planned, I will be out this evening. Gonna try and stick a big fat nanny. I need to purchase my second buck tag. However, I'm gonna go out with just my lone doe tag a few times. It forces me to shoot a doe, if you know what I mean. When I have a buck tag in my pocket I always seem to pass on the does in hopes that a bruiser will come through. Counting the buck I killed last sat., 8 out of the last 9 deer killed on my property have been bucks. So needless to say, its time to kill a few nannies. I wouldbetmy bottom dollarthat I have a bruiser walk within 20 yards tonight, since I won't have a buck tag with me. Any takers?

Due to bad judgement, I'll be hunting today with my video. It should be heating up in my area. I saw a 10pt come from a thicket at 2:10 PM last Sat!I'm not even bringing my bow with me, so it will be nice not to have the pressure of doing all of the things you need to do to kill a buck. I only need to shoot him with my cam.
I have 2 deer butchered so I'm in no rush to fill my remaining 3 antlerless tags. This is just a filming hunt. Light rain, so it should be good. Heading out in an hour, I'lllet you know how I do tonight.

Goherd,
I'd say it's almost garunteed you'll have him come by tonight. I'll be heading out in about 4 hours, hopefully something will come by. It's about time for a buck since I already have 3 does in the freezer, but I won't be too picky.

I'm torn between sitting on a stand this afternoon and working the dog for pheasant.
