I'm off work tomorrow, and will be hunting most of the day. So I checked the weather, and the dad gum winds are gonna be up around 20 ........AGAIN.....ya'll, the wind has been blowing like that in these parts for pert near a week straight!! I'm getting mighty tired of it....

BUT, I guess I could look at it this way......The deer can't be holed up out of the wind for this long.....They gotta get up and eat sometime.......But man alive.....

The deer will get up and move at some pointbut you have to be there.;)


I was camping/hunting some years back and we had a bad wind storm and rainy weather move through.I was headed out 1 afternoon and my stepdad said your not going out in this are you?I said you can't kill them if your not out there.I shot a doe that evening that field dressed 139.

I'll have you know, I don't have a single arrow w/ pink blazers anymore.....Some are camo, some are yellow and white tiger, thank you very much.....

I'll be on the riverbottom tomorrow. I can't hunt Friday (kids are off school) and I'm headed down to my buddy's place in southern MO for the weekend. High hopes there....LOTS of deer.....

30 mph gusts here today,but layed down just befor prime time and got real nice! This has been the worst 3 weeks of season I can remember weather wise in a long time up here, extream heat, Gale force winds, thunder storms, very few good days to hunt so far this season.
