merry early christmas
I just couldn't wait any longer for some comfortable boots for this time of year.I have some extreme cold weather boots but they aren't very comfortable for long hikes so I went from this.
![]() to this ![]() These dream season scent blocker boots are just about the most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet and extremely light weight. I DID NOT buy them because of the scent blocker stuff,I bought them because they fit (which I have a hard time finding with my small feet)However,I do like the built in gators at the top. That will help keep odor in while keeping chiggers out. That is always a plus in my book. They seem to be very well built also. ![]() |

Cool, they look like they would be comfy boots, almost tennis shoe like. Might have to try a pair on sometime...

ORIGINAL: DropTine249 Yea man.Ive got a pair of these. Obviously they dont offer the support of a true ankle boot, but, they are better than rubber. The carbon gaiter and waterproof design are an added benefit. They do make an ankle boot as well. Im going to buy them for early season hunts and hunts that I dont have to cross water/mud/deep snow. I like them, but, they will "droop" on you over time. I pop the gaiters off and put them in the dryer for 80mins after each hunt, and I usually spray the boots down with water, just to get any scent particles that I may have picked up off. They are alot more forgiving when standing still for a long time in stand than regular rubber boots. I would know, I stand almsot every minute AND Ive had 2 surgeries on my left knee and my medial/lateral meniscus removed. Obviously, I know when something doesnt give a " cooshin' " |
