We have had it for years in NC...You put in your license number, key in the county and if it was a buck, doe or button buck, that's it...

If you ask too many questions, guys won't call them in, it takes too much time.

Funny...The Government wants them checked in and the Government wants us to conserve gas...Wouldn't it save gas to not have to drive to a check in station????Who is running this country anymore???

btw...We don't have to call them in...We can also do it on the Internet.....

In Iowa you have to either call them in or report them using the internet. I called my first one in and let me tell you by the end of the call my excitement went to frustrated. It took forever and its all in a boring computer voice. So a little bit of advice use the internet :) it took 1/4 of the time and didn't leave me wondering if I had done it right.

We just got the "call and check in" a few years back I like it, because during dog season you don't have to stop hunting.

this really doesn't efect me my check in is less tehn a mile away but i really c wat you guys are talkin about i bet it would b really nice if u had 2 go out of you'r way to get to a check in

In illinois we have been calling or using the internet for a couple of years now. I love it. We used to have to drive 10 miles into town. I hunt just 1 mile from home so this was really a pain. Now we call it in answer about 5 questions and thats all. Works good :)

When I hunt other states its great, I only wish WI would start using it.
