Barometeric pressure???

I pay close attention to the weather in my hunting locations but I have never understood how the rising and falling of pressure effects deer movement. Can someone please explain how and why it effects them?

RE: Barometeric pressure???

Some beleive that animals can sense the pressure changing. For instance, if there is a high pressure weather pattern in your area with a strong low/storm coming, the wild animals can sense the pressure dropping and will often be active/feeding before the storm arrives, which often has them feeding and active during all times of day, not just morning and evening as usual. Then, they will be well fed and bed down during the strong low pressure period.
