My buddy told me there aredeer hit all over on the highway here in PA so I'm guessing it has begun. This is usually a good sign things are starting up.

I watched a few small bucks chase some does around then saw a large 8pt come out of the trees and lock horns with one of the smaller bucks. Things are heating up in SD

There is a difference between chasing does and dogging does. The bucks are clearly ready, the does are not.....of course there are exceptions. Things should really change in the next two weeks.

Most of you are probably just seeing bucks buggin the does, not the actual chase phase of the rut - but I will agree with ya'll and say it isn't far away.

I saw some chasing last night when I answered that age old question truthfully..... "Does this dress make me look fat?" [:-]

I was watching TV and not really paying attention. []

Not yet. Last week the bucks were just starting to move during the day. I would expect the within the next two weeks there will be lots of bucks on the move and out chasing.
