Had a buck on other side of creek, what do I do to get him over to my side,,, Im in a ground blind,,, can anybody help me?

Grunts and contact calls.

Start subtle and increase in volume and attitude as you watch the bucks reaction. Many times all I need to do is grunt twice. If I get their attention with the first one, I grunt a second time and they come, other times I have to get their attention much more aggressively. Take their temperature and watch the body language.

Just to give you an idea about my buck last year. I had to grunt about 10 or so times! Overcalling? Hardly. I could clearly see that he was about 60-70 yards away and I don't believe he heard me calling. I finally let out one good loud grunt and got his attention. Followed up with a couple more and he headed right my way. The rest is history.

duc, I bought my first deer call 22 years ago...a wooden doe bleat...I've never looked back. I've seen amazing things happen with deer calls.

I wonder tho, have times changed and have deer learned that humans call?

I've wondered the same. I've hunted field edges and called and had buck and doe come in, see no other deer and haul booty! They new something was up.
