RE: Camp fire and scent?
I've been around quite a few grass fires and timber fires. Deer don't usually leave when there is a fire. They look for a way around the fire to get the burnt area. They know that the blackened area makes them safe.

I am currently trying the product where you actually put smoke on your gear - I know it sounds crazy - but honestly I haven't had a negative experience with it yet - just the opposite....
So I wouldn't worry too much about the campfire. |
RE: Camp fire and scent?
I think I'm going to play it safe and just wear non-hunting clothes around the fire.
