What kind of digital cameras you all carry with you????
What kind of digital cameras do you guys own and carry with you in the field?? I currently do not own a digital camera, but keep looking to buy one!! I see a lot of good cameras but Inone seem really durable enough to carry in the woods with me?? I would hate to spend so much money on something I could possibly break!!
So if you guys could tell me camera brand, features, DURABILITY, how much you like/hate the camera I would HIGHLY APPRECIATE IT!!!! (ohhh and maybe some pics????)
I know this really shouldnt be here but I figured I would get the most feedback from most of you guys from the quality pictures post!!!!! Thanks!!!1

A Sony Cybershot. It has been dropped numerous tmes, goes in the ocean and woods with me every time. It is the BEST cameraI have seen durability wise, I have had it for four years so it is only a 2.1 megapixel, but it still takes good pictures. I may be upgrading to the 6.0 megapixel Cybershot this year.

I use an HP945 5.3megapixel model.......its a few years old now so you could probably get one for dirt cheap and it takes fantastic pictures.
8X Optical zoom and a 25X digital I think?
I've had it long enough now that I don't baby anything on it anymore except the lens.
I do have to look away from these new 10 megapixel type cameras though. I like photography and they're calling my name. I also gravitate to more of the SLR style vs the little portable soccer mom ones.

Sony Cybershot DSC-V1. Outdated by todays standards, but it was the first 5mp camera out there. It does night vision, decent video, and great still pics. The only thing I wish I had was more zoom. I believe it is only 4x.

I have a KodakEasy Share P850 with5.1 mega pixel and 12xoptical zoom with Image stabilizer. I love it it takes great photographs.

had Sony.i really liked but..model i had was too big and bulky.
per recommendation in Eastman mag. i got canon G7; 10 meg pixel great camera costco has them on their online web page. not really cheap but great quality camera.....but i take alot of pictures and i'm very pleased with it. i would look at one that is at least 5 meg.
