Got my New Viper Sight.
 

I made my post, what Friday about ordering a new Viper sight,

well today it came. A beautiful box from UPS. It contained my new Predator Pro sight including the attached 4X Zeiss lens, two tubes of extra fibers, (3 .019 fibers (green, yellow, red) 3 .010 fibers (3 green)) a Viper Sticker, a new catalog.

Here was my original review of the Viper Predator Pro MT when I ordered my first 2 back in the spring 06.

LOL aint that the truth Jeff, hell I have a Hoyt Micro Tune sight downstairs as well plus the Toxonic sight with a Boss Scope on it!....AND A Sure Loc that is for sale!

Looks good. I have a question? Does the level, that is on all the sights really help. I ask because ive never used one, nor had a problem that I felt required a level. Im a cant head anyway. I started archery with recurves many moons ago. lol:D

The level absolutely comes into play on side hills. Archers have a tendency to cant the bow away from the hill when the reality the top limb should cant into the hill. Right GMMAT!.;)

In target shooting on side hills, people have a huge tendency to hit downhill (left/right depending) because of cant. That could throw an arrow off several inches.

i really thing the smaller pins and extension will really help my long range game.

it is funny to goto the local 3d shoots the clubs have..its ALL hillsides here...i love hearing arrows zing through the woods and the guy stand there with a dumbfounded look on his face..." i dont know what happend!"

my buddy still dont believe in a sight level...i cant count how many arrows he lost this year...a couple at every 3d shoot we went to. i tried explaining it...but "he been bowhunting for years" and "i just started last year i dont know more about archery than he does" same thing, same buddy when it came to shooting broadheads. i did everything but yell at him...then finally gave up...cant teach an old dumb dog new tricks....

Rob,

The UPS guy stopped here and I had my wife distract him while I rummaged through his truck. He must have already stopped at your house because I couldn't find that Predator Pro . [:@]
