I have decided not to shoot a 3 point, 7 point, 5 point and a 4 point in that order. I have seen some bigger ones just nothing big in range.

This is the biggest buck that I have truely passed on, meaning he actually gave me a shot. The same night that this buck came in I had two 140 - 150 class deer come in but they caught wind of me just before walking into shooting range. So I can't really say I passed on them. He is probably about a 100 -115 inch 2.5 year old 8 point. He already has nice G2's and G3's should be a dandy in a few years.

I passed on a 120" 9 pointer. However I'd like to have my "pass" back. That was my moment of hunting brain loss.

For me its been a 105" +/- 8 pt. Had him at 17-18 yds. The only other buck I've seen this year was a 4x2 that may or may not have presented a shot as I didn't pay much attention since it wasn't that big. He was in range, just don;t know if he was every open enough.

Wish I could say I passed/chose not to shoot something with horns but all I'm seeing is does and not many of them.

I guess that is probably why hunters in areas without lots of opportunity are morewilling to shoot "substandard" deer. If you don't see many deer that little6 begins looking like a shooter.

Must be really cool to see and let walk so many deer. I'm envious and IDO understand QDM but I also understand and feel that burn to shoot something.I'm worried I might shoot the first buck that walks by..

I feel so dirty.

Passed on an about 140 11 pt. He stood 10 yards from me for almost 10 minutes. I had dropped my release on my way into the woods, and even though I practice shots with my fingers and could have made that shot, I didn't feel 100% comfortable with it so I opted to watch him walk away. I feel much better doing that than to take a shot that might have been risky and wounding one.
