Where to hang stands (IMAGE ADDED)

Ok, after I figured it out, Im posting my lease for a little help.

Red=boundary
Blue= water sources
Black=crops
Brown=Creek bottoms
Lime Green=Ridges

Basically, the ridges have steep, but walkable ravines between them. Very open oak and hickory timber. The southeast corner has a nice creek bottom with three ravines meeting at the bottom. The north east corner has a lot of bottom ground in it as well. Any advice on stand placement? Please let me have all your advice. Thanks

pull up your land on google earth and then press and hold the Crtl button and while holding it press the Print Screen button on the top righthand side of the keyboard. This will copy the whole web page. What I did is opened paint and pasted it in paint. Then used the eraser to erase what I didnt want posted on here and once done save that picture and then go on here and post it.

Or, you could click the file tab at the top, save image, then save it where you want to.

I labeled a couple places in pink. The big one on top of the ridge (if that is a ridge top) might be a good bedding area and you could hunt in between that and the food source.

When are you going to be hunting this property?

RE: google earth

im going to start hunting it tomorow.
the lime green lines are ridges (saddles), so the pink oval is a ravine, but with ridges on both sides.

Well the rut should be kickin in pretty soon but right now you might still focus on hunting staging areas or just outside of bedding areas...

Hope this helps

Looks like you have a couple of good inside corners in the center of the image. 1 appears to have a narrow strip of timber attaching the 2 larger pieces of timber to north and south. other is the ridgetop the runs nw/se toward the open field in center.

The 1st one I described appears(if trails present, which I'm sure there are) could have mult stand poss. for easterly winds on north side of "strip", southwest wind where the 2 ridges meet in same area.

These would be ruts spots where all day activity could be expected.
