I tend to agree. If you have shot the bow and enjoy the way it shoots then go for it.
On the other hand, if you want to stick with the Diamond brand there are a few new bows I think you would love.

I held the Diamond Marquis this weekend at Gander Mtn..sweet looking bow The price tag about floored me, $699 bare bow except for thewhisker biscuit knock-off.
I thought Diamond was the cheaper version Bowtech. If so whats a General gonna sticker at?

The Pearson Z-34 is a great bow. It has Barnsdale limbs and comes with quality string/cable. Where are you getting it from? If you are ordering it online, I'd get it from Jim Rumps at Select Archery. He'll throw in custom Crack-ers string and cable for now charge and he'll make sure it's tuned properly to get the most out of that bow. The Z-34 has quite a bit of room to fine tune the cam. If you advance the cam, you can get some serious speed (well above advertised). He'll do that for you, for $499. I have no affiliation other than as a happy customer.
