My son is a nanny whaker (pics)

Talk about a proud papa ;)Long story but im A proud man. Yesterday afternoon Me and Dalton my 15 year old son decided to move one of his ladder stands that has just not been panning out. the plan was to scout a section of woods where i have been seeing alot of deer on my way home from work in the early mornings coming home from work or going to work in the afternoons. They have been going to a cut cornfield and i was seeing them cross the road alot. We scouted the section of woods and found a cattail marsh mixed with some thicket that the deer were going around. Bingo an edge, i love hunting edges. We got his ladder stand, he wanted to try and hang it himself, and he did an excellent job. This afternoon started with a meal of grilled back straps from the Doe i killed yesterday morning marinated in Germs trashbag marinade (delish) It would be the first time i would just drop Dalton off and let him do his thing, im usually within 100 yards when we hunt together. I was taking my 8 year old son Tanner hunting in a double stand i had hung nearly a half mile away, i was to pick Dalton up at quitting time. We were armed with two way radios in case he needed me. At 5:30 my radio sounded off but i could not hear anyone. I would answer and get a faint answer back but could not tell if it was him. This went on several times, i had that feeling it was him and was also worried something could be wrong. If you are a parent you know what im talking about, we love our kids and worry about them. Me and tanner headed for the truck, we got near Daltons location and i hollered at him again, he answered back and said he had stuck a doe :)Relief for me and now im excited. Me and Tanner walked into Daltons set, found his arrow from a pass through and good blood, i quized him on every detail, he said he could not see the arrow hit her (good follow through) but seen blood pumping out of her. I realized i had forgot my knife. We decided to give her one hour to be safe, went back home, changed clothes, sprayed with skeeter dope, they were getting bad. My new neighbor Harold decided to tag along, his hobby is tracking fatally hit deer :DI let Dalton take the lead after all it was his deer and he is still learning. 70 yards latter Dalton and Tanner were so consumed looking at the blood on the ground that they nearly tripped on the deer that me and Harold had already spotted :DDalton put a text book double lung pass through her at 23 yards on her (thats my boy :() This is his third bow kill at 15 and he said he was ready to learn the gutting, he passed the test with flying colors. Im proud if ya have not noticed. Now we are done with the nanny's are gonna concentrate on some bone. note: we even discussed about putting the deer's tounge back in it's mouth for better pic's ;)

Meand Dalton, TannerHad painted my face by the way
