The crotch snapper
 

Okay, I am not making this up, this really happened today.

I was at my local megasporting goods store looking at bows, killing some time while my kids were at a birthday party.

A young guy was next to me with his girlfriend, he had a flannel shirt on with sleeves cut off, a real tough guy. Well he picks up a bow off the rack that wasn't zipped typed and pulled it. He then gives it to his girlfriend to try and makes fun of her as she tries to pull it back. He takes it from her and draws it again to show off how macho he is when it happened. He lost his grip on the string and dry fires the bow the string gets him right in the crotch.

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes as I am trying to not die laughing. He just put the bow back on the rack and gingerly walked away, while his girlfriend was giggling.

AND THAT is why they put zip ties on bows......

u shoulda made him look real macho in front of the manager when u told him the guy dry fired the bow he should buy it but now some one else has to buy a dry fired bow how fun lol

Yeah, How did he get hit in the crotch? Please explain, I dont have to have my peepee severed if i accidentaly dry fire my bow while shooting in the buff..

I've seen Bozo's doing this by extremely blading their body, arching their back waaaaaaaaaaay back, and pointing the bow towards the ground because they are struggling to draw and they've never drawn a bow before. By the time they get it back and they're leaned so out of wack, they've got the very bottom cam under their crotch.If they let it go, it would definitly hit or rake the ol' pee pee.

snood slapper has it right. He had the bow pointed down low with the bottom cam about knee high.

Boy I am really sore this morning...uh, I mean he must be really sore, yeah him, not me. Talk about taking one in the vitals....

OK, first of all, what was Hunsucker doing in PA?;) Second of all, I still can't picture how a dry fire would hit you in the goodies.
