Tough call for me today
 

It is early Shotgun season and I also have the option of using my bow but I am required to wear the blaze orange. A part of me wants to use my bow but if that doe is out there 60-70 yards I need to take her down.
It is still earn a buck and I would have a 2nd sticker which I could hold onto and use next year.
Now if a bruiser comes in I would still rather get him with a bow but lets just see what happens this evening.

So.....if you bust a doe w/ your ML, will that earn you a buck tag that you could fill w/ your bow? Or do you have to harvest a bow doe as well??

If whacking on w/ the ML does it......I say do it man! DO IT!!

No matter what weapon I use as long as I kill a doe I get a sticker to use any weapon to kill a buck.
Well tonight I had a deer 30 yards away and could barely see it then it winded me. The only place I
knew I would get busted and that deer went right through it. I so wish I would of hunted on the ground
instead of up in the tree stand. If I would of been on the ground that deer would of been mine.
I will get back at it tomorrow.

I used my 12 gauge pump 2 3/4 and I think tomorrow I will use my bow the wind is out of the south. Its time
to hit my big boy stand.
