Fletching

What do you prefer to shoot and why?

I myself will always shoot feathers! To meif they were to hit a branch or something they won't reflect as bad.Vanes are more durable though i'm guessing. I think feathers will grab on to blood better to to see what kind of shot you may have.

I guess I could ask the guy who cuts and fletches my arrowsto build some with feathers but out to my 30 yards vanes are fine.
Ihave used feathers in the past and I did not like them when they got wet and never wanted to spray anything on them to make them repell the water.

I've been using blazer vanes for 3 years and will continue unless something better comes along. they'll keep more of the initial speed down range than feathers and won't wilt in the rain and humidity.
