I don't know why I always get part way through that story and lose interest. I do, though.

Its funny, Mitch, I do not know personally but have many of the same friends... I believe that buck is the real deal. He has several Michigan book deer, and he was (maybe still is) of Michigan's comperetive bucks. He knows where the big boys live and had access to them.

This is a great read.

I use to be a big Mitch non-believer, but after meeting some people and seeing the bucks he has shot since 1998. I for one believe the deer is real. I feel we as a hunting community did Mitch wrong. We robbed the records books of a great deer.

Ok, I don't really know much about this but I don't see what the big deal is. This guy shot a great buck and he evidently worked really hard to get it. If it scored 216 typical then it should be the record right? So what's the big deal? What are the complications??? Somebody fill me in!!!!

Alot of peolple said the rack was made, then attached to the deer. There have been requests to x-ray the rack, but he won't allow it to be done, something about the deer being wiped clean of blood yet he supposedly walked up on the deer for the first time in the video. That led people to speculate he was there before the video and doctored the whole thing up. Interesting story, have read it many times.
