I'm saying either germ or jmbuckhuntr. Germ will be sitting all day this weekend, and he's been on them. Just a matter of the right one walking by. jmbuck is headed to Illinois (actually, he's there right now I believe) and he's got a solid plan on a farm he's familiar with.

I wouldn't be surprised if a newcomer doesn't get it done this weekend either. Someone we never would have thought of...

My hopes are on mobow. Mauser06 is done so the next thread we've been waiting for reads BBD by mobow!

The woods are coming increasingly alive. We may have several every week from here on out. I'm down to 3 weeks. I'll be at it constantly but I'm picky until Nov get here.

No, i really think that Shawn and I might get lucky this weekend. I didnt make a thread about this, but we had that big TALL 8 at 30 yards broadside Wednesday morning but we didnt have good camera light. Shawn could have waxed him no problem but i had to contain him! He came back several times again that morning 40-50 yards away each time never presenting an oportunity. Thats the second time we have had him right by us he's losing his lifes like a balding old man loses his hair. Its only a matter of time...

I dont want to jinx it so im going togo withmobow. Im pullin for ya man! :D

all i know is mine will still be the biggest of the year. i scored mine today...just like i thought...if you add Matts and Franks together, mine is STILL bigger....;) atleast that how i feel lol...boy i cant wait to go meet with the taxidermist tonight. i wish it was one of them things that its done over night...im going to take more pics today...im going to die without my horns in my possession :D if something were to happen and my horns got ruined, stolen, lost etc...i may never stop crying lol...gunna be a lonnnnng wait. im hoping that hes done by may. if not, and i get a job out of state this summer, im looking at not having him back until next september(could be that long or longer anyways..) but hoping because i am one of the earlier bucks in line that its done sooner..

I'm betting that the next guy who scores will not be one of the favorites. Most of those mods and life members go up in flames from all the weight they are carrying. I'm betting on a newbie and maybe even a rookie. Being great is fine but being lucky is better..
